Transport and Local Government in Scotland – SCOTS Training Module one

On Monday the 3rd of September a number of Ayrshire Roads Alliance colleagues attended a three day training course at South Lanarkshire Council Headquarters in Hamilton.

The course was run by SCOTS (Society of Chief Officers of Transportation in Scotland) and was attended by trainees and graduates from local authorities all over Scotland.

Over the three days there were fourteen presentations and discussions covering different aspects of Transport and Local Government in Scotland from Climate Change to Public Transport and was concluded on day three by an interesting presentation about the A9 Dualling from Perth to Inverness.
