Following extensive damage in the wake of Storm Eowyn our operatives are working in conjunction with East and South Ayrshire Council, Police Scotland and Scottish Power to co-ordinate clear up operations throughout our road network.
Whilst the Met Office Red weather warning has passed, Yellow warnings are in place for snow and ice, therefore our gritters will be out from 4pm this evening. However due to the nature of Storm Eowyn many roads may continue to remain hazardous due to fallen trees and dangerous building. We urge the travelling public to exercise extreme caution if travelling today as roads may be icy and advanced warning signage may not be in place.
