Join the Ayrshire Roads Alliance (a partnership with East and South Ayrshire Councils) and North Ayrshire Council road safety teams for their Fit For the Road experienced driver event.
This FREE event is open to any experienced driver living in Ayrshire and will be held on:

The event will begin with presentations by:
Police Scotland Road Policing,
Urquhart Opticians,
Scottish Fire and Rescue.
You can also try the online Highway Code Theory and Hazard Perception tests, test your brake reaction times and visit various information stands. Organisations also attending are Scottish Ambulance Service, Safety Camera Partnership, and South Ayrshire Council Thriving Communities.
Local members of RoSPA Advanced Drivers are offering the chance to participate in an assessed drive in your own vehicle. There is normally a charge for this but Ayrshire Roads Alliance and North Ayrshire Council have arranged for a limited number of assessments to be offered on the day for free.
The assessed drives must be booked in advance. Please ensure your vehicle is in a road worthy condition; has valid tax, insurance and MOT (if required); and enough fuel/power for a 30-45 minute drive.
