As part of an ongoing programme to improve the condition of the road network, the Ayrshire Roads Alliance will be carrying out essential road resurfacing works on B744 Weston Brae, Browns Crescent and Weston Avenue, Annbank.
The works which are expected to commence from Monday 12 June until Monday 24 July are scheduled to be carried out in three phases:
Phase 1 – Weston Brae – Monday 12 June until Monday 26 June
Phase 2 – Browns Crescent – Monday 26 June until Monday 10 July
Phase 3 – Weston Avenue – Monday 10 July until Monday 24 July
The road is expected to be closed between 9.30am and 5.00pm each day with it being open out-with these times.
An alternative route will be signed via:
From Annbank travel along the B744 to the junction of the A70, once at the junction of the A70 turn right onto the A70 and travel to the A77 Holmston Roundabout, take the third exit from the roundabout and travel along the A77 to Whitletts roundabout and take the fourth exit onto the B743 Mossblown road. Travel towards Mossblown and at the crossroads junction take the right hand turn onto the B742 Annbank Road and follow to destination and return.
