The resurfacing of North Drive, Troon is scheduled to take place over the Easter school holiday period. The works which will require full road closures will be carried out in 2 phases.
Phase 1 will begin on Tuesday 7 April and last up until until Tuesday 14 April. Phase 2 will take place between Tuesday 14 April and Sunday 19 April. On street parking will be suspended within each working area to allow excavating and relaying of the road surface and some footways, during each phase we ask that all affected residents park on adjacent streets during working times to avoid delaying the works.
Phase 1: Tuesday 7 April – Tuesday 14 April resurfacing will take place from Buchan Road up to the Junction of Earn Road during this time the junction of Buchan Road will be manually controlled by traffic marshals to aid residents ingress and egress.
The diversion route for residents of the affected area will be: Devron Road – Spey Road – Earn Road – North road – Aldersyde Avenue – Lochlea Avenue – Afton Gardens.
Phase 2: Tuesday 14 April – Sunday 19 April resurfacing will take place from the Earn Road junction (including the resurfacing of Earn Road) and into Aldersyde Avenue.
The diversion route for residents of the affected area will be: Earn Road – Spey Road – Devron Road or Aldersyde Avenue – Lochlea Avenue – North Drive – Deveron Road.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

Protecting the safety and wellbeing of employees and local residents is of the utmost importance. Therefore, vehicle access to properties within the affected area will be strictly prohibited while resurfacing works are in progress. It would be greatly appreciated if vehicle journeys within site limits are avoided or minimised to allow operations to proceed as quickly as possible.
Every effort will be made to minimise disruption where possible however the work is weather dependent and unforeseen difficulties could result in a delay. We fully appreciate your patience and co-operation as we carry out these works.
